Character design
An alien named Alan, who's mission is to erase boredom from earth through silliness.
The puppet below was made in 2023, it has a wire armature, and it was the inspiration to venture to make a pro armature.
Armature design
Based on the book "Stop-motion armature machining" I choose the joints needed to achieve the needed movements.
Machining preparation
One would think that it's a matter of getting the materials and get going, but we discovered that many other things are needed before we start machining the final pieces. Below are most of the gigs, tools and accessories needed to complete this project.
